So, wow, it’s been over a month since my last post. Let me assure you, it’s not due to a lack of photography from my end – May has been a busy, busy, busy month. More event-type things than music, but I’m getting the bills paid. Anyway, I’ll be sharing some of what I’ve shot over the past few weeks in my upcoming posts.
First off are some shots from two weeks ago – I got to see Free Energy play a Ray Ban event when they opened for Iggy Pop at Music Hall of Williamsburg. Unfortunately, they had a very short set and I was only able to be there for a few songs. Iggy played for a good hour, but I was more interested in enjoying his performance than taking photos, so I’m only sharing my favorite shot of him. It was a lot of fun, despite the awful crowd of socialites that were “important” enough to get invited. If you don’t know Free Energy, keep your eyes peeled – they’replaying about 40 million shows this summer.
