Last night I was invited to a special showcase put on by RethinkPopMusic at Santos Party House. Though I wasn’t really familiar with any of the bands playing, RPM seems like a pretty cool company – it’s an all-inclusive music industry machine. They’re brand new – only about a year old – and they look to have a pretty solid game plan. Last night showcased two of their artists, The Yes Way and Ambassadors, along with a few friends of the company. Ambassadors were playing a comeback show of sorts – the band’s keyboardist Casey (who is blind) just had a kidney transplant from his mother in November and this was the band’s first show since CMJ in October. Though I had to take off a little early to get to Mercury Lounge for Dan Black, I caught the first 3 acts and took some shots. Check them out below!
